Rare NGC-certified South Korea Set Offered in Harmers Sale

A 12-piece South Korea Proof Set certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company™ (NGC®) is one of the top offerings in a sale presented by Harmers of London. Bidding for Auction 3 is underway, with the sale concluding on September 25, 2022.

A modern rarity, the South Korea KE4303 (1970) Proof Set consists of denominations from the 25,000 Gold Won to the 50 Silver Won. These coins feature one of the greatest leaders in Korean history: King Sejong the Great. The obverse shows a representation of a bronze statue of the king at Deoksugung Palace in Seoul, South Korea. Graded NGC PF 64 Cameo to PF 69 Ultra Cameo, this set (lot 394) has a starting price of £30,000 (about $36,000).
