Play the Game, Reap the Rewards! NGC-certified Eighth Era Character Coins Awarded to Video Game Winners

Don't just play games, play for keeps and collect your bragging rights! Nice Gang (nicegang.com), a new mobile gaming company, has merged immersive mobile gaming and tradable collectibles with its groundbreaking first video game title, Eighth Era. Released in October 2024, Eighth Era is a turn-based RPG that is the first-ever video game to reward players with physical, limited-edition coins that are certified and encapsulated by Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®), with three versions minted: colorized, silvered and gold gilted coins.

Free to play on mobile devices, Eighth Era is set 10,000 years in the future. Players must journey through perilous worlds of the past to collect lost history and overcome the evil supercomputer Harmony, which reigns supreme over the world. With in-game and physical collectibles rewarded along the way, the fun goes beyond your phone!

Once players reach Level 6 and above, they will have the chance to win reward coins for participating in in-game tournaments. Winners have a variety of coins to chase, each featuring a character from the ever-growing collection of heroes in the Eighth Era game. The current season includes Dryn, Jaxon, Scoria, Umbranu and Voltern. These come in three varieties and rarities: rare colorized (1 of 250), epic silver-plated (1 of 50) and legendary gold-plated (1 of 5). Each coin is encapsulated in a display-worthy, protective NGC holder with a special label showcasing the character on the coin.

Eighth Era players will compete against other players in their level range, as everyone vies for positions on the leaderboard, with the goal of making it into the Top 10. Players are divided into three tiers based on their player level at the start of a tournament. Level 6-20 competes for rare colorized coins, Level 21-40 competes for epic silver-plated coins and rare colorized coins, and Level 41-60 competes for all three varieties.

Tournaments run in a month-long cycle featuring two 1-week sprints and one 2-week marathon finale. The gold-plated coins are the rarest coin reward and will only be available in the cycle's 2-week finale. To see what coin you're competing for, simply check your tournament menu in the game.
