NGC Announces Revised Services and Fees for 2025

Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®) is making a few updates to its submission forms, services and fees for 2025. A full list of the changes for NGC submissions is below. The updates are effective for submissions delivered to NGC on January 7, 2025, or later.

Updates to NGC Grading Tiers

• Gold tier – fee changed $40
• Economy tier – fee changed to $25
• Modern tier – fee changed to $20

Updates to NGC Add-on Services

• Early Releases / First Releases – fee changed to $18
• VarietyPlus – fee changed to $20
• Mint Error – fee changed to $20
• NGC Oversize Holder – fee changed to $25

Updates to Other NGC Services

• Metallurgic Analysis – fee changed to $150

Updates to NGC ReHolder Services

• ReHolder – fee changed to $15
• Scratch-Resistant ReHolder – fee changed to $20
• High Value ReHolder – fee changed to $60
• Oversize ReHolder – fee changed to $25
• High Value Oversize ReHolder – fee changed to $100

NCS Is Becoming NGC Conservation

As part of these updates, NGC is moving its conservation services under the NGC Conservation brand. The same world-leading services for removing harmful contaminants, stabilizing and protecting a coin’s surfaces, and enhancing eye appeal are still being offered, but the Numismatic Conservation Services™ (NCS®) brand will no longer be used. This change will further streamline the NGC submission process and workflow.

Updates Effective January 7, 2025

Updated submission forms and price sheets reflecting these changes will be available starting December 18, 2024, at NGCcoin.com. All coins delivered to NGC on January 7, 2025, or later should be accompanied by the new submission form.

Reminder: For non-Bulk submissions, the maximum number of coins per submission form is 50. Use multiple submission forms as needed. For bulk submissions, the minimum number of coins per submission form is 100.

Please note that the fee updates listed above only apply to submissions made to NGC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, USA. Any changes to international pricing will be announced separately. The NGC Conservation updates apply globally.
