NGC Offers Collectors and Dealers Hand-signed Rhett Jeppson Labels for the 2025 US Marine Corps 250th Anniversary Commemorative Coins

The bold and patriotic NGC Rhett Jeppson Signature Label is the perfect pairing with the highly anticipated first US Mint release of 2025 — and it’s available to ALL submitters!

Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®) is thrilled to announce that Rhett Jeppson, a distinguished US Marine Corps veteran and the first Principal Deputy Director of the US Mint, is signing special NGC certification labels for the highly anticipated first US Mint release of 2025 — the US Marine Corps 250th Anniversary Commemorative Coins. This hand-signed label is available to ALL submitters, notable because it is the first time that NGC has ever offered an autographed label to both collectors and dealers.

The 2025 US Marine Corps 250th Anniversary Commemorative Coin Program includes a trio of coins: a Gold Five Dollars, a Silver Dollar and a Half Dollar. The coins can be purchased as a set or individually. To learn more about the coins and how to submit them to NGC for grading, go here.

The bold and patriotic NGC Rhett Jeppson Signature Label for the US Marine Corps 250th Anniversary Commemorative Coins is available to ALL submitters for an additional $20 per coin, and there is no minimum submission requirement. To request the label, simply select “Special Label” and write “Jeppson USMC Signature Label #2471” when filling out the NGC submission form. NGC’s popular Early Releases and First Releases designations are also available.

Note: The Rhett Jeppson Signature Label is available through December 31, 2025, for all US Marine Corp 250th Anniversary Commemorative Coins and related releases.

About Rhett Jeppson

Rhett Jeppson joined the US Marine Corps in 1987. He was deployed in Operation Desert Storm in Iraq, and he saw active duty in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Before concluding his military career, he served in several prestigious roles, namely Chief of Current Operations for the Marine Forces, Deputy Director of Operations for US Forces – Afghanistan and US Special Operations Command in Tampa.

Upon returning to civilian life, Jeppson served as the Acting Chief Operating Officer of the Small Business Administration, where he was also the Associate Administrator of Veterans Business Development. In January 2015, he was appointed the first Principal Deputy Director of the US Mint, and in May 2015, he was nominated as Director of the US Mint. Under his leadership, which continued through January 2017, the US Mint issued the 2015-W American Liberty High Relief Gold $100; the 2016 American Liberty Silver Medals; the 2016-W Centennial Gold Coins, the 2016-W 30th Anniversary Silver Eagles; the 2017-P Lincoln Cent; and the 2017 American Liberty 225th Anniversary Gold $100.
