This popular commemorative coin from 1983 issued in Poland features the then newly appointed Pope John Paul II. As popular as this commemorative issue is for many reasons, this particular example had developed a rather unattractive hazy residue.

Adept in removing offending residues from modern and classic coins alike, skillful residue removal resulted in a coin as bright and lustrous as it was first issued. This coin was able to grade very well with NGC following the residue removal; a residue that if not removed would have a negative impact on the final grade.
