Posted on 8/15/2017
NGC Shanghai Business Information Consulting Co., Ltd. (NGC Shanghai), the China-based affiliate of Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), Numismatic Conservation Services (NCS) and Paper Money Guaranty (PMG), has appointed Shanghai Tian Li Collection Culture Dissemination Co., Ltd. (“Tian Li”), a Strategic Partner.
Established in 2000, Tian Li is an authorized dealer of the China Gold Coin Incorporation. To bolster its mission of promoting the collection of Chinese coins and paper money, Tian Li has a four-story office building and an almost-1,000-square-meter evaluation facility. These resources, along with its strong record of business synergy and customer service, have helped Tian Li grow into one of China's largest companies dealing with numismatic collectibles.

As Strategic Partners, NGC Shanghai and Tian Li will work together to increase interest in the coin and paper money hobbies in China through marketing and other efforts.
“NGC Shanghai and its affiliates, NGC and PMG, are well known in China for their accuracy, consistency and integrity,” said Tian Li's general manager in a statement. “We look forward to working together with NGC Shanghai to grow the coin and paper money markets in China.”
“Tian Li is at the forefront of the collectibles markets in China,” said Steven R. Eichenbaum, CEO of NGC. “We are fortunate to be able to work with a partner of this caliber.”
The announcement comes amid the Chinese market’s rapid embrace of the expert and impartial grading services provided by NGC and PMG, which opened a 15,000-square foot grading facility in Shanghai last year. NGC has now certified more than 2,300,000 Chinese coins and PMG has certified more than 500,000 Chinese notes.
