NGC Registry Custom Sets

The NGC Registry is a community where collectors can showcase their coins and compete for the best sets. Registry participants can enter coins into Competitive Sets or Custom Sets.

In traditional Competitive Registry sets NGC defines what is eligible for a set. There are many predefined Competitive Set structures.

However, some collectors choose to assemble sets in unique ways, as personal expressions of what they find fascinating about collecting. Custom Sets allow collectors to post sets of any type.

Unlike our traditional competitive registry categories, Custom Sets are not scored and ranked. You define the set’s theme, choose which coins are eligible and choose whether to make them viewable to others or keep them private.

A free NGC membership is all it takes to participate.

An enhanced Custom Set experience is currently being developed for the new NGC Registry. In the meantime, users can still access Custom Sets on collectors-society.com.
