The Numismatic Literary Guild (NLG) has once again recognized Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®) for its efforts to provide educational and engaging content to the coin collecting community. NGC was honored with four awards: one for its social media presence and three for its monthly columns about US, world and ancient coins, a reflection of NGC's broad expertise.

For the second year in a row, NGC’s @ngccoins Instagram account was recognized as Best Numismatic Social Media Platform or Coin Collector Forum. Found at Instagram.com/ngccoins, the account has over 28,000 followers, nearly double what it had a year ago and making it one of the most popular coin collecting accounts on Instagram. It is updated daily with high-quality images of fascinating coins, tokens and medals from around the world.
For the third consecutive year, the NGC Ancients column was recognized for excellence in the category for ancient and world coins (up to AD 1500). Meanwhile, NGC Research Director David W. Lange's USA Coin Album column was recognized in the category for US coins (1792 to date). In 2018, Lange was honored with the NLG's highest honor, the Clemy.
Both of these columns are posted monthly to NGCcoin.com and are also available through the free NGC monthly newsletter. To get them delivered to your inbox, visit NGCcoin.com/Connect.
The NLG also honored NGC for its Chinese Coins column in the category for world coins (1500 to date).
"We are honored that the NLG has again recognized our efforts to promote and educate the hobby," said Mark Salzberg, NGC Chairman and Grading Finalizer. "Sharing our expertise and engaging with collectors across the globe has long been a priority for NGC."
The NLG was founded in 1968 as an organization for numismatic writers, editors and content creators. The NLG awards are traditionally presented at the World's Fair of Money, the most important numismatic show every summer. Because the show was canceled this year due to the coronavirus, the awards were announced in an online video.
