NGC Signs Exclusive Signature Label Deal with Thomas J. Uram

Uram, who is also president of the Pennsylvania Association of Numismatists and a previous member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) Board of Governors, boldly led the initiative to pass the 1921 Silver Dollar Coin Anniversary Act (H.R. 6192).

The Act, signed into law on January 5, 2021, authorized the mintage of new Morgan and Peace Dollars in 2021 to mark the 100th anniversary of the last year that Morgan Dollars were issued for circulation and the first year that Peace Dollars were issued for circulation.

Uram, a resident of western Pennsylvania, has also served as president of the George Washington Numismatic Association. In addition, he is a member of the Western Pennsylvania Numismatic Society, Central States Numismatic Association, Florida United Numismatists, the Chicago Coin Club, the North Hills Coin Club and the South Hills Coin Club.

NGC Authentic Hand-Signed Labels pair a notable person’s autograph with a coin to create a one-of-a-kind collectible. Uram joins a diverse roster of NGC Signature Label signers, including Edmund C. Moy, 38th US Mint Director; Elizabeth Jones, 11th US Mint Chief Engraver; and Gov. Hon. Mike Castle, who also served as a member of the US House of Representatives.
