NGC Registry Featured Set: Haiti Republic

Last month, we featured an NGC Registry set that celebrates the remarkable national symbol of the United States: the American Eagle. This month, we fly down to Haiti to pay our respect in recognition of the tragedies that they have endured lately. We feature a remarkable 1863-1908 Type Set, Proof & Specimen Set by rudman coleccion.

Rudman coleccion has a collecting passion for Latin American coins, among others, and his devotion to the coinage of Haiti is evident. He currently has over 90 sets listed in the NGC Registry Haiti categories and boasts a top-five rank in almost all of them! He began this particular set back in 2018 and has carefully built it with several unique examples, many of them top-pop coins. His latest addition is a striking example, an 1863 Heaton 20c, graded NGC SP 65★ Red, featuring General and President Geffrard, below.

With over 250 participants in the Haiti categories, the Republic sets like this one are the most popular with our collectors.
