Peter Anthony: The 1995 5 Yuan silver Panda Small Date is a true key for this series. It was struck in Shenyang but no mintage has been published. Like its larger sibling, the 1995 10 Yuan Small Twig, Small Date (sometimes called the Micro Date) this 5 Yuan coin is usually found with a dull, unattractive luster. The number available to collectors is small and this is just beginning to be appreciated. High grade MS-69s are a particular challenge to come by.
