The first time I had the chance to acquire this variety and grade, I wasn't ready. The second time this variety came up, it was a grade higher, and the winner had deeper pockets than I did. Then I found one on Heritage "make offer". I made 3 offers before I gave up and then after a 2 year wait, I found this on a Tuesday night Heritage auction. Even with the ding on Jeffersons temple it is nicely toned and a full step. Diagnostics: Tripling is visible on the Monticello structure and all lettering.
